2019 College Affordability Bill Tracker

The Triton teamed up with CALmatters, a nonprofit newsroom,  and a network of student journalists to track some of the most important college affordability bills working their way through the California Legislature. The deadline to pass a bill and send it to Governor Newsom for approval is this Friday.

The Bill Tracker was created as part of the Cost of College Project, a collaboration between CALmatters and student journalists to cover college affordability across California. Writing by Felicia Mello from CALmatters, Ethan Edward Coston and Vrinda Chauhan from The Triton, and Aidan McGloin from Mustang News. Tracker developed by John Osborn D’Agostino at CALmatters.
