The popular rock band Bad Suns will be headlining this year’s Rock ‘N Roosevelt on Friday, March 9. The concert will take place in Price Center West Ballroom at 7:00 p.m.
Bad Suns might be a familiar name to UC San Diego students, as they were one of the main acts at UCSD’s 2017 Sun God Festival. The Los Angeles based band started in 2012, and are probably best known for their song “Cardiac Arrest.” The song peaked at number 10 on Billboard’s Adult Alternative Songs chart and has nearly 45 million streams on Spotify.
The group has two albums, Language and Perspective and Disappear Here, which were released in 2014 and 2016 respectively. Their break-out album, Language and Perspective, is best known through the use of an indigenous symbol on their album artwork. Their newest single, “This Was a Home Once,” dropped in October 2017. Bad Suns is embarking on a three-day tour in England and will perform at UCSD three days after its end.
Rock ‘N Roosevelt is free for all UCSD students with a valid student ID.
