Early-2000’s teen sensation Jesse McCartney will headline Warren Live, along with Cosmos and Creature, on Thursday, February 22 in the Price Center West Ballroom from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Perhaps best known for his 2004 debut album Beautiful Soul, McCartney first made an appearance on the national stage in the American pop boy band Dream Street. His 2008 song “Leavin'” was nominated for the Teen Choice Awards’ Song of the Summer. McCartney’s most recent studio album, In Technicolor, was released on July 22, 2014.
“In a day and age where credibility is sought out by engaging in club brawls and parading around with one’s derrière fully exposed, McCartney has gracefully avoided the pitfalls of celebrity,” reads his website. “Steering clear of public fiascos and melt-downs, he surrounds himself with a team willing to put their foot down if need be.”
Toluca Lake pop duo Cosmo and Creature, a collaboration between Brandyn Burnette & Molly Moore, will be opening for McCartney. The duo are best known for their 2016 single “Young,” which debuted at #1 on Spotify’s viral chart.
Warren Live is free for all UCSD students.
