E-40 to Headline 2018 Senior Send-Off

Iconic Bay Area rapper E-40, along with DJ and vocalist SOSUPERSAM, will headline the 2018 annual Senior Send-Off.

Originally from Vallejo, California, Earl Stevens, known by his rapper name E-40, has been in the game since the 1990s. He has released 27 studio albums, including My Ghetto Report Card, which features some of his most notable songs, such as “U and Dat” and ‘Tell Me When to Go,” and The Block Brochure: Welcome to the Soil 2, which features party starter “Function.” Some of his more recent songs include “Choices (Yup),” the Golden State Warriors post NBA Finals championship song, and “Slappin.” His most recent album Connected and Respected dropped on April 6, 2018 and is a testament to his prevailing witty lyricism.

SOSUPERSAM, or Samantha Duenas, is a DJ and recording artist from Los Angeles, California. SOSUPERSAM’s most recent release is a single titled “Drip,” a prequel to a creative project expected to drop later this year. Prior to “Drip,” SOSUPERSAM released an EP titled Garden, a R&B mixtape produced by ESTA with songs such as “So” featuring P-Lo.

The 2018 Senior Send-Off will be on Tuesday, May 15th, 2018. Doors open at 8:00 p.m. at Price Center Ballroom. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the UC San Diego Box Office, online on the Box Office website, or by phone. Attendees must be UCSD students with a valid UCSD ID.
