The dance lineup includes USC Business School graduate-turned-dance and choreographer Sorah Yang; San Diego dance group Choreo Cookies; Femme Fatale; 220 Second To None; and The GOOD Project.

The announcement was made to the Associated Students Concerts and Events (ASCE) official Sun God Facebook event page on April 20. Set times will be released next week.

MadeinTYO’s name may be pronounced “Made in Tokyo,” but the hip-hop artist is originally from Atlanta, Georgia. MadeinTYO has three mixtapes out and has a spot on the 2017 XXL Freshman Class. He is known for his singles “Uber Everywhere,” which peaked at number 51 on the Billboard Hot 100 music chart, and “Skateboard P,” which peaked at number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 for R&B and Hip-Hop Airplay.

Ashe is a Dance/Electronic artist with pop dance songs like “Used to It.” Ashe was recently featured on the Louis the Child track “Right To It.” TEMPOREX (pronounced Tem-per-ex) is a San Diego-based alternative artist. Their most recent release is “Sweet Sundae,” an indie love song.

Stay for the Fireworks is a five-member, San Diego-based band with original songs like “Today” from their album Wondering Where You’ve Been. In the past, they have opened for bands like Saint Motel and The Mowgli’s.

The festival will also feature an Art Park with art from undergraduate artists Jessica Mejia (@jessicalmejia), Amariss Ortega Olivas (@amarissolivas), and Luxi Xiong, as well as the return of the KSDT Lounge and activities from sponsors like Rockstar and Yachak Organic.

The 2018 Sun God Festival will be on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wave One of the lineup includes blackbear, Cuco, and Robotaki. Undergraduates must register at https://sgfregister.ucsd.edu by 11:59 p.m. on April 24, 2018 and have a valid UCSD ID to attend.
