Seventh College Students Are Living Without a Housing Contract!

I had to say something, I just had to.

I really didn’t want to rat them out, but this behavior is truly intolerable. Seventh West Building 3 is a renowned haven of peace on campus, and I’m doing my part to keep it that way.

For the few unfamiliar with Building 3, it’s the one with the beautiful trash compactors outside. The ones that go hrrrmgrrrmmmrmmm. Ring a bell now? That’s what these students are interfering with.

I hear them every night outside my window, the one that looks right out on the beautiful trash compactors. I’m really a lucky guy. But I won’t remain so if this continues. Their incessant chattering keeps me up at night, and I constantly have to close my windows to shut them up. Now the lovely hrrrmgrrrmmmrmmm of the beautiful trash compactors can’t serenade my mornings!

And they always cut me off mid-stride when I’m trying to take a walk. Before I can rebuke them, they’ve disappeared into the bushes. I have reason to suspect they’ve been living in the bushes by the beautiful trash compactors for well over six nights, which is in complete violation of the housing contract, I’ll have you know!

They also won’t stop eating our food. Just the other day, I saw them munching on a discarded Beef and Cheddar Sandwich from Northside Deli. I couldn’t stand how obliviously they indulged. That one $12.00 sandwich is over 10% of a $100 weekly dining dollar budget! What a lack of care for paying students!

I just know they’re making fun of me whenever they chitter and squeak at 12:30 A.M. They get to enjoy overpriced food and the hrrrmgrrrmmmrmmm of the beautiful trash compactors without paying a nickel.

Hopefully, all of us paying students can rally against this injustice. But we have to do so before 3:00 P.M. on June 16, 2026, which is the end of our housing contracts. By the looks of it, the uncontracted vermin will continue their freeloading lifestyle way beyond then. Oh well, the best I can do is enjoy the benefits of Seventh West Building 3 while I still can. The hrrrmgrrrmmmrmmm of the beautiful trash compactors at 6:00 A.M. always reminds me how beautiful San Diego mornings are!
